I am happy to learn that Department of Zoology, Jawahar Arts, Commerce and Science College, Anadur is publishing its ‘Departmental Profile’, that reflects its dynamic role in student development during the last 5 years. My many congratulations to the entire team of the department for their unique endeavor.
Department of Zoolgy was started with the inauguration of Jawahar Arts, Commerce and Science College, Anadur in the year 1991 just with 12 students. This seedling planted by the hon. founder of our institution Late Shri. ‘S. N. Alure Guruji’ has grown up and transformed into a Kalpavruksha catering the need of higher education among end number of rural youths. Since the beginning itself, Department of Zoology has been pioneering in initiatives encircling academic, cultural, social and extra-curricular skill development activities. Their passion for the subject and innovative modes of implementing them into the drafted programs puts them apart from the crowd highlighting their unique identity. Outstanding annual results of the Department of Zoology themselves are a proof of their academic standards and quality policy thus attracting most number of students admissions in this subject. Recent motivational lecture series and job fares arranged by the department are highly appreciated.
